BALLIN!


“Ballin!” What is that? Another common colloquialism of Hip Hop devotees? Another gimmick for appealing to gen “x”ers and  gen “y”ers. Maybe, but more importantly what does it mean? As much as language changes its relevance and primacy remain. By whatever means we can encourage all of the generations of our Bethel family to celebrate and appreciate the blessing of increase that God’s faithfulness and blessing afford us are most needful.

“From the rising of the sun to the going down of sun, God is worthy to be praised!” Ps 113 Bless the Lord and congratulations to all of our Bethel family members who have experienced raises, new jobs, graduation from school or program of training and capacity building, a new house, new opportunities of any sort you are “Ballin!” Don’t get it twisted however, you are not “Ballin!” just because you have experienced a blessing but you are “Ballin!” because you recognize the source of your blessing!

Your vision planted, your diligence watered, but God gave you the increase! 1 Cor 3:6 For those whose season of increase has yet to come note this season as the harbinger of your own! Don’t wait until your season comes bless the Lord right now! As Bildad encouraged Job during his “out of season” though your beginning be small yet shall your latter end greatly increase! Job 8:7 This Pentecost season of new first fruit harvest is the time for all “Ballers” to bless the Lord! I will bless the Lord at all times his praise will continually be in my mouth! Ps 34:1 My soul will boast in the “Big Baller and Shot Caller”, “The Lord” and be glad! “Ballin!”
